​A little bit about us 

​We are a small independently run nursery based in an old Farmhouse. In the summer of 2025 we converted the existing offices into our beautiful nursery.

​

We have been on quite the journey to renovate the building. We have knocked down walls, installed children's toilets and landscaped the overgrown garden. Finished off with a lick of neutral paint and maple oak vinyl flooring!

At the heart of our nursery is family - a place where every child feels welcomed to learn, play and grow.

F - Feeling Safe

Our Hygge inspired nursery has been thoughtfully designed to  create a calm, nurturing and homely environment where children feel secure, valued and free to be themselves. We believe in developing strong relationships, where each child is known and supported and feels a sense of belonging.

A - Adventure

We embrace the wonder of early childhood and inspire children to go on their own adventure. Our invitations to play are built upon the children's interests and have a strong focus on child lead learning and play. The children are involved in a range of daily activities to provoke curiosity, creativity and exploration. We celebrate the little moments, finding beauty in the world around us.

M- Mindful Emotions 

Emotional literacy is embedded in everything we do. We support children with their big emotions and help them to understand, express and manage their feelings with confidence and kindness. The children are encouraged to talk about their emotions and foster empathy to others. modelling positive relationships, respect and gentle communication.

I - Inspired by the Outdoors

We provide rich outdoor experiences in all weathers and seasons, taking time to observe, discover and investigate. Our outdoor areas have been tailored to support children's physical development and engage the children in activities that build their core strength, fine and gross motor skills.

L - Learning Through Play 

We support children through play, by offering open ended experiences that give freedom to explore, create, problem solve and discover at their own pace. We value real, meaningful experiences where children are learning by doing.

Y - You Can Make a Difference 

We inspire children to believe in themselves, care for the world around them and show compassion and kindness to others and their environment. We embrace sustainability and help children to understand their role in caring for the world.
