"We have been extremely happy with The Farmhouse Nursery. The staff are incredibly passionate and enthusiastic about what they do, and this really shows in the care they provide every day.
Communication has been excellent. We receive daily updates and photos, which is very reassuring — it’s lovely to see our daughter smiling, busy, and happy throughout the day.
Our little one is excited to go to nursery every morning and often talks about Amy, Emma, and Beth at home, which says so much about the relationships she has built there. As it is a smaller setting, we feel that all of the staff truly know our child and have developed strong relationships with her. This is something we didn’t experience at her previous, larger nursery.
The setting itself is beautifully designed — calm, inviting, and purpose-built, with lots to keep the children engaged. There is a lovely balance between adult-led and child-led activities, but it’s clear that child-centred learning is at the heart of the nursery. The children are encouraged to explore, follow their own interests, and learn through play, which we really value.
We also love how much time the children spend outdoors in all weathers. The large garden and forest school area are fantastic and are used regularly.
Overall, Farmhouse Nursery has struck an excellent balance: it feels like a safe, nurturing environment where each child is known and supported, while also offering a wide range of enriching experiences such as dance, gardening, forest school, and physical activities. We are so glad we chose this nursery and couldn’t recommend The Farmhouse Nursery highly enough."
